«Personnel questions» among Western Urals cities intelligentsia in the second half of the 1940s

Summary/Abstract: The article considers the tendencies of development of intelligentsia of the Western Urals in post-war years. On the material of the cities of Perm region and the Udmurt Republic analyzed are the problems which have arisen in the environment of the regional intelligentsia, the structure and level of claims of which changed both in the days of the Great Patriotic War, and with change of living conditions and activities in the first peace years. The attention is focused on features of outlook of the intelligentsia members evacuated to the region in military years. It is shown that departure from native places was perceived by them as a temporary phenomenon and even as an exile. In general this period is characterized by the outflow of intelligentsia that set the task of formation of local personnel.
