Summary/Abstract: The acceptance of building works is one of the essential components of the building quality assurance system. The acceptance upon the completion of building works is the first stage of the acceptance of building works. The acceptance of the works is done by the investor in strict accordance with the recommendations of the acceptance committee. The provisions of art. 1862 paragraph (2) of the Civil Code relating to tacit acceptance are not applicable to building contractor works.
