Attempt to assess the small-lot production process implying the direction of changes in the company

Summary/Abstract: The paper considers a crucial to answer question: Is there a possibility to assess the small-lot production process of the agricultural machinery parts? If so, is it possible to postulate the direction of changes in the evaluated manufacturing process on the basis of the conducted assessment? In the context of the adopted objective, the authors intend to: 1. Perform a query of the subject literature remaining in the direct relation to the research subject; which in the intention, will find its expression in the original method of the manufacturing process assessment; 2. Confirm the possibility of practical use of the proposed method – a selected manufacturing process should be assessed; 3. Based on the obtained results, with the use of expertise, develop concrete solutions – suggest the direction of changes in the manufacturing technology – significantly improving “the quality” of the analysed process.
