Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to analyze the competitiveness of agri-tourism as a form of leisure. In the presented research results a stereotype of building a competitive position above all for a low price is often reproduced. In this article the author points to the other dimensions of the competitiveness of the agri-tourism grounded in behavioral economics. She called the results of surveys conducted by different researchers. The choice of the offer of agri-tourism is very often determined by non-economic factors, including natural and cultural values of the region or an offer for active leisure time. The important role is played by consumer trends, which agri-tourism becomes part of. They are also a guideline for rural accommodation providers improving the competitiveness of their offer. The author also pointed to various risks associated with decisions about the choice of agri-tourism offer.
