Summary/Abstract: The article considers the issue of observing the language balance in the programsof multilingual education, taking into account the peculiarities of the sociolinguistic situation inthe places of compact residence of ethnic minorities. It analyses the experience of piloting multilingualeducation programs in Kyrgyzstan.
