Summary/Abstract: The article describes the impact of the implementation of projects in the units of local self-government on efficiency in the development of the city in accordance with the planned strategic goals. Considerations also include the impact of experience of local authorities in Poland on the management of projects in the units of local self-government in Ukraine. This paper presents the views of the residents of the city of Lutsk in Ukraine to assess the effectiveness of project activities of the municipal administration.
