Summary/Abstract: The main objective of the study is to know and characterize the situational and motivational factors in the group of the offenders of homicide. In 2014, 82 offenders of homicide and their situational-motivational background were subjected to the secondary analysis. Consequently, it can be concluded that most offenders of homicide experienced difficult situations and frustration/deprivation the biological or psychological needs before the crime. The most frequent difficult situations were: threat, situation of pain and overload, and frustration/deprivation related to following needs: self-esteem, acceptance, safety. The main motive for homicide was: the emotional-affective, the sense of threat, the sense of harm. The results of research allow us to formulate practical conclusions regarding the treatment/therapy and rehabilitation and forensic psychology (issuing opinions).
