Analysis of the concept of personalised learning pathways

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the analysis of the concept of personalised learning pathways (PLP). This concept is dedicated primarily to those majors whose curricula include the field of Business Informatics. The main assumptions of this concept include giving up the specialties and increasing the proportion of elective subjects. The purpose of this article is to analyze the potential of the concept of personalized learning pathways. The analysis concerned the demand for such solutions among students; also strategic analysis and formal and organizational conditions analysis were included. As a result, the potential benefits of the PLP concept as well as challenges coming from this for traditional education were highlighted. The results of the analysis are another topic in the discussion on adapting curricula to changing reality.
