Summary/Abstract: Transnational family is a system in which one spouse leaves home country for economic reasons and a second one stays to take care of the children. Te aim of the article is to familiarize with the problems of everyday experience of transnational families,parents and their children and to increase immigrants’ awareness about the importance of keeping the family in case of separation. A diagnostic survey was used to analyze the issue. Te research analysis revealed that the majority of migrant family members try to keep close bonds with their partners and children despite the distance. Majority of family members perceive their family as coherent. Migrants communicate with their family several times a week. Te most popular form is sending messages through the Internet. Majority of families are flexible enough to cope with the conditions of life that are changed by migration. Tough in transnational families there are victims of the territorial mobility. In effect to poorly developed adaptive skills of parents, children functionality in the family is affected. In result many children become euro-orphans. This is an important and major social problem caused by lack of consciousness of parents that cannot meet the challenges caused by living in two separate countries. Due to this problem children become isolated from their society.
