Summary/Abstract: In the process of writing a bachelor’s thesis in Musical folklore, IT is primordial nowadays and facilitates the efforts of students as well as of their supervising professors. IT means can be used in collecting folklore from the field, in text processing (for usual texts and musical texts too), and in the audio processing of the collected material. This process requires the extensive use of the software listed hereunder.
