The debate in Germany for its new foreign policy

Summary/Abstract: 25 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall and its reunification, Germany enters a new stage in the development of its foreign policy. Germany is willing to undertake higher responsibilities on the international stage. This article presents the main concepts of the foreign policy of the state since the end of the Second World War, which were used in its foreign policy agenda.The reasons for the changes, the new messages of the German politicians and public debate within the country throughout 2014, where the media plays a key role, are the focus of this research. The research is following policies, which would influence the decision making process of Germany regarding international crises.
