Summary/Abstract: The presented case has provokeda deeper analysis of the participant chosen from a broader study concerning the issue ofparticipation in the context of vision impairment, while he remarked as another proof that vision impairment is not a major obstacle to success and a good quality of life. He was highly self-confident, had a high self-efficacy and a very high level of satisfaction with life compared to the other 79 participants with vision impairments. According to the results obtained at the IPIP-50 personality questionnaire, as compared with a sample of 747 Romanian students, M. N. had a medium level of emotional stability and conscientiousness and was a very open, extroverted and agreeable person, characteristics that have contributed to a very easy social and professional inclusion, being openly accepted in new social groups.Compared with the other participants, he also had a high level of participation in productive activities, in the community and outside the house, a very high level of participation in personal relationships and accordingly of global participation.
