Summary/Abstract: The Catholic Church today is looking for new ways and methods of pastoral work. Her task is to approach modern man in very complex and ambiguous situations of his or her life. One of the most pressing problems in this mission is to present the deposit of faith in a pastorally effective way. The present article concentrates on the concept of the deposit of faith in the documents of the Catholic Church after Second Vatican Council.
