Summary/Abstract: The former Cistercian Abbey in Jemielnica together with its Assumption church for decades astonishes the local people, pilgrims, tourists and especially the art and church scholars. This is because of some outstanding works of art gathered in it, which still preserved a kind of mystery. Among them one can find the painting of the Holy Family made by the Silesian painter Michael Willmann. Discovering its meaning we can shift our everyday life to the mystical space of eternity.
