Summary/Abstract: War Journal is a military journal prepared by Ottoman Empire Ministry of War during World War I. The situation of the Ottoman Empire army and incidents in the battlefields during the war were conveyed to the reader through articles and photographs. In addition to this, articles and poems that boost the motivation and morale of soldiers were included in journals. Since this journal was distributed to the Ottoman society and soldiers in the battlefield, it is possible to observe how the psychology of war was included in the journal. This study examines how the war of psychology of soldiers was created in the Ministry of War as well as the arguments supporting this. In the conclusion of the study, how social values such as the use of nationalism, religion and history in the spiritual preparation of Ottoman soldiers for the war were shown through the War Journal will be emphasized.
