Summary/Abstract: The problem is that, when students are drunk they become vulnerable to criminal activities, as their inhibition levels are not fully functioning. This is a serious problem that puts students in a dangerous situation, and not only students, but the institution and the community at large. Binge drinking is particularly problematic bothe because of its prevalence and also because its associated adverse consequences. The excessive consumption of alcohol leads to a host of problems, both for those engaging in binging as well as those who associate with binge drinkers.
