Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the inclusion of plant varieties names in the group of chrematonyms. The analysis is devoted to names of varieties of fruits and vegetables most popular in Poland. The paper presents a preliminary onomastic analysis and characteristics of chrematonyms in relation to trade names of plants.
