Summary/Abstract: Bulgaria among other countries in the European Union faces the challenges of immigrant integration in society, which is an important, complex and delicate task. Numerous institutions in the country set primarily educational and cultural purposes related to the promotion of the history, language and traditions of the Bulgarians. The paper considers the linguistic and cultural adaptation of migrants, who participate in language courses and cultural integration under international projects and programs. An important factor is the communicative ethnic setting and cultural events of presentation of books, movies, exhibitions, etc. The successful integration and adaptation is a process that develops and implements locally. One of the effective tools of legal migration and accelerated adaptation and integration into the host society is the promotion of immigrants to the study of the Bulgarian language and to the learning about the cultural traditions of the people and about the norms of behavior accepted in Bulgarian society.National educational and cultural policies on migration and integration of migrants are constantly changing, in accordance with the human rights and cultural values.
