Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to reflect upon the curatorial concept of the 57th International Art Exhibition in Venice. The neohumanistic project proposed by Christine Macel is considered in the context of relational aesthetics and the Nietzschean categories of Dionysian and Apollonian.
