Summary/Abstract: Earlier this year, in spring 2012, two books that contain the professsional testimonials of two major actors of the French judiciary milieu were published in France. One of the authors is the lawyer Eric Dupont-Moretti, who, through the instrumentality of the journalist Stephane Durand-Souffland expresses his views in his book entitled “Bête noire. Condamné à plaider”, edited by the Michel Lafon Publishing House. The other one is the anti-terrorist judge Gilbert Thiel, protagonist of the volume „Derniers jugement avant liquidation. 35 ans dans la magistrature”, a book conceived as a 237-page interview with the journalist Daniel Carton as interlocutor.
