Summary/Abstract: A translation error in the Romanian version of the 1st article of Nr. 12 Protocol in the European Convention of Human Rights, on whose basis a restrictive and literal interpretation made by a Romanian Law Court overlapped, brought about the consequence of a judicial error. The judicial error was corrected due to the court proceeding, but the removal of the translation mistake, excceeding the law court competence, has not yet occurred. The present paper aims at pleading for the necessity of a quick correction of this mistake.
