Summary/Abstract: Based on the methods of cognitive semantics, the article analyses the semantic expression of locative inessive and illative constructions in the Northeastern Aukštaitian Subdialect of Vilnius. The constructions in question are discussed in terms of semantics by distinguishing the cognitive physical, event, social and state spaces denoted by them. Their expression is actualized through prototypical, non-prototypical and transitional cases of usage. The article ends with the evaluation of the ratio of semantic expression of locative inessive and illative constructions
