Summary/Abstract: This article looks at the relationships between anthropology and religion. The first part of this article examines the postulates of the anthropological philosophy of religion with the aim of showing that the adopted model of religion is a consequence of the adopted anthropology. Next, we will analyze the philosophical background of anthropological theory with Scott Atran's cognitive theory of religion. As a result, we will see the ontological, methodological and epistemological background of anthropology. The second part of this article is concerned with the analysis of the model of religion presented by Atran. We show that the way you understand what man is fully determines its creations in this religion.
