Summary/Abstract: The article constitutes the first part of the text titled as above. The whole text presents the historiography of Wiktor Wąsik’s “Polish philosophy” at the level of research studies and lecture. The author aims at presenting “Polish philosophy” as a philosophy distinct from other nations. This initial part is intended to present W. Wąsik’s biography and scientific bibliography as well as his understanding of basic concepts in the historiography of the philosophy used in his work.
