Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the issues of a poetic imagination, interpretation and translation, which poetry by Emma Andijewska puts before the researchers. The complex metaphors in the poems by a Ukrainian author point out a specific fiction technique of the language, creating the effect of an unusual sensuality of her poetic microcosm. The researches prove, that the poetry by Emma Andijewska reveals the rich existential registers, describing the issues of senility, vanishing and suffering.
