Summary/Abstract: This article provides an overview of children with Attention Deficit Disorder and Hyperactivity (ADHD), taking into account biological and etiological explanations modalities of assessments available on the behavioral manifestations. It argues that a thorough assessment of children with symptoms of ADHD include not only common side (conduct disorder, depression, low performance), but also typical irrational beliefs that generate these secondary symptoms.
