Summary/Abstract: This paper is an analysis of the most recent studies in the domain of training preschool and primary school teachers. The main purpose is to provide a unitary and updated image of the research in this field, and to elaborate a new vision of the way in which the studies focused on training preschool and primary school teachers are grouped. The complex analysis enables the identification of the main research in the field and, especially, the highlighting of the studies focused on a comparative analysis of the training programs.
