Trade documentation structure of the industry documentation: features of functioning

Summary/Abstract: Purpose of Article. The study deals with theoretical substantiation of a new scientific direction –commercial records management. There is a need of scientific understanding and practical overcoming significant contradictions between the intensive growth of trade information sources and its insufficient reproduction in the industry document resources. Methodology. The research methodology is the using of socio-communicative and systematic approaches, which give the opportunity to explain the nature and features of the trading activity as applied research areas, one of the varieties of sectoral activity; enrich new scientific knowledge the theory of General records management; identify the main structural elements of the sectoral system documentation, show its various characteristics. Scientific novelty. The scientific novelty of work consists in a substantiation of a new scientific direction of the trade documentation, the subject of the study which are the regularities of development of systems of trade documentation for some areas of trade activities and their functional responsibilities of professional actors. Conclusions. New scientific and practical direction as the trade record occurred at the intersection of economic sciences and document management, indirect trade documents reflecting the specifics of the functioning of retail industry of Ukraine.
