Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to a discussion of the aesthetics of modern synaesthesia, art theory and art practice. The author consciously disassociates from the traditional historical analyses of art movements and highlights the conceptual, theoretical, aspects of problem solving of synaesthesia, generally typical for modernism. Compared with former romantic and symbolic theories of synaesthesia, the article reveals the extremeness of the theory of synaesthesia and art practice. The article expands the research field of traditional arts’ interaction and sensation. The author grounds the particularity of the concepts of modern synaesthesia to the emergence of new problems and research fields of art interaction and sensation.
