Summary/Abstract: The article examines priest J. Bosco preventive system (also called nurturing method) with the approach of paradigm of free education. The preventive system, based on catholic values consists of a trinomial: mind, religion, love. Their interactions are characterized by a synergetic effect and the educational subjects are communicating as equal individuals in the educational process. The security developed by priest J. Bosco is based on the fundamentals of the christian methodological educational approach, and is oriented to upbringing an honorable christian education by highlighting the execution of his mission in the World, i.e. actively participate in secular activities. It is applied in nature, so is quite difficult to consider in terms of science education, but the insights into the methodological point of view shows that the system responds to the essential paradigm of free education settings. Preventive System of the religious aspect of pedagogy, responds to the implementation of free education paradigm desire Lithuanian general education schools.
