Summary/Abstract: The article presents the guides for changing concept of school role in the perception of philosophical reconstructionism, the positive development and passes of education are drawn, by showing the orientation of the school to the avant-garde role of initiation and implementation of society transformation. The role of the school and education is designed by considering two assumptions of philosophical reconstructionism: 1) the society shall be constantly rearranged, and 2) social changes are related both to the educational restructuring and its application by transforming the society. The educational objective in the methodological access of philosophical reconstructionism is highlighted – the student education and self-development becoming an initiator of social environment reform by seeking for human well-being and improving the society. The insights of educational objectives, contents and method design are provided for this purpose. Philosophical reconstructionism ideas that can serve to the change of school role and educational change are posed – the space-matter of school’s role concept, the insights of educational objectives, content and methods; relation between the education at school and beyond its borders.
