Summary/Abstract: The article deals with aesthetic theory of Gilles Deleuze. It claims that Deleuze forms a distinctive concept of synesthesia and grounds it on a nomadological aesthetic and complex rhizome methodology. This innovative methodology exposes the limits of the classical synesthesia concept, especially that of mimetic representation. Deleuze treats synesthesia as manifestation of multiplicity and focuses on the new type of aesthetic relations that are characteristic of post-modernistic aesthetics: on nonlinear, chaotic, amorphous, unstructured, nonhierachical, enigmatic connections of aesthetic phenomena of which the original synesthetic aesthetics is formed.
