Summary/Abstract: The Rhetoric of Prophetic Discourse in Ezekiel and Daniel. The paper analyzes some rhetorical techniques employed by prophets Ezekiel and Daniel in their discourses, with emphasis on two particular subjects: the divine judgment (Ezekiel 8-11) and the Son of Man (Daniel 4, 7, 8, 10). While approaching these two subjects, the author makes use of text analysis, emphasizing the importance of words and figures of speech, not only in view of ornamental purposes, but also in view of making the prophetic message breakthrough Israel’s religious conscience.
