Summary/Abstract: The abuse of narcotic drugs and other psychoactive substances of natural or synthetic origin is an old, long known negative, socio-pathological phenomenon which endangers the health and life of people, but it also endangers the family, the narrower and wider community, and certainly the safety of a whole state. In addition, the abuse of narcotic drugs often involves other crime-related phenomena, i.e. other criminal acts within a state, and even cross-border crime, which eventually gets organized and transnational character. Every national criminal legislation based on international acts of universal and regional character, foresees one or more criminal offenses of drugs abuse and system of criminal sanctions for their perpetrators. In this paper, author has discussed some positive criminal law solutions of drugs abuse in the criminal law in Scandinavian states.
