Summary/Abstract: Science education is one of the key areas of school and preschool education. Under the framework, students learn many senses as possible, inter alia, world of fauna, flora and the four elements of nature. As part of the science education children have to become young scientists who are increasingly aware of how conduct research using the experiences and experiments. Shaping ecological, research and passionate conducts teachers must organise adequate educational situations for children. Unfortunately, in spite of the rich history of the laboratory teaching in Poland the science education is still limited by pedagogic sins, of which the review is a subject of the article. The author lists three sins that seem particularly affect children’s science education: (1) verbalism and demonstrative sham nature, (2) the student’s passive activity, (3) non-modelling of fallacious beliefs of pupils.
