Summary/Abstract: The basic principles concerning social welfare and social security are laid down in the Federal Constitution, the constitutions of the socialist republics and the constitutional laws of the autonomous provinces, in the Program of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia, and in the documents of the Ninth Congress of the League. The Federal Assembly Resolution on Social Welfare of April 1970 is the only document in which these principles are further elaborated at federal level.
