Summary/Abstract: Vasile Goldiş (1862-1934) was a Romanian politician of European scale, who, through his theoretical contributions, exercised a positive influence over the ideas movement in the XIX-XX centuries Europe. His name is closely related of the Romanians national emancipation movement and of the other peoples found under the domination of the great empires of the time. After the First World War, his name was enlisted among the personalities who had militated for the cultivation of the ideal regarding a world of peace and equal rights for all peoples of the world.
