Summary/Abstract: From the biblical perspective one should perceive miracles as signs of the saving action of God. Therefore, the authors of the Old and New Testaments did not focus on describing the extraordinary phenomenon of the miracle itself. The miraculous events are primarily to know God and to believe in Him, and consequently to accept His will, which is the salvation of man.
