Summary/Abstract: In her article, the author presented the subject matters of budget management by households, which are the main entities functioning in the sphere of consumption. The basic criterion of household budget management efficacy is construction of the balance between household’s income and expenditure. Breach of the balance may lead to household’s insolvency and bankruptcy, which have been noted in many countries in the years 2008-2009.
