On some limitation measures regarding the access of foreigners to the Bulgarian labour market

Summary/Abstract: The Labour Migration and Labour Mobility Act, in force as of 2016, was intended to overrule the preexisting scattered regulation in numerous legislative acts and to implement new standards regarding the access of foreigners to the Bulgarian labour market. The article deals with some limitation measures and in particular the question whether and to what extent they fulfil the legislative aims. Proposals for optimization of the regulatory framework are also provided.
