Summary/Abstract: The survey was carried out on the cash conversion cycle as well as there are analysed debt liquidity, activity efficiency and profitability on a farm. There were used data from the FADN base. The author compared the results of farms from Poland with the results observed in the EU-27 in 2009. She pointed out that the type of carried out activity, which agricultural production is, affects the results achieved by the farms surveyed, as they have a high level of net current assets in trading days, long operating cycle, excess liquidity, low propensity to borrow, low efficiency of activity and low profitability. In the course of surveys carried out, there were formulated three methodological problems and proposed ways of their solution.
