Creation and Operation of Groups of Agricultural Producers of Western Pomerania in the Context of Sustainable Development

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to show that the establishment and operation of groups of agricultural producers in Western Pomerania is a manifestation of the implementation of the concept of sustainable development. Work has been done on the basis of the carried out confrontation of the group of statutory objectives, under which agricultural producer groups are formed from the three dimensions of the concept of sustainable development (economic, social, environmental). For the preparation of the article there was used an individual pilot study conducted by M. Lazarek-Janowska, in pursuit of her doctoral dissertation on “The effectiveness of producer groups for grains and oilseeds of Western Pomerania”, under the guidance of assoc. prof. J. Zieziula.
