Summary/Abstract: The article presents a brief discussion on the two approaches to the subject of microeconometrics, distinguishing microeconometrics in the narrow and the broad sense of the term. In the broad sense, microeconometrics is the use of appropriate econometric methods in the field of microeconomics. In the narrow sense, microeconometrics includes special methods of microdata analysis.
