Conceptual Links of the Standard of Living and Quality of Life with Sustainable Development

Summary/Abstract: This article attempts to present the theoretical concept of links between the standard of living and quality of life of people with sustainable development, what affects the social behaviour of consumers of goods and services. The paper presents the results of a passage in the standard of living of people in different regions and examining the quality of life in selected Polish regions. The project concluded that there is a regional differentiation of the standard of living which does not ultimately affect the perceived quality of life, but it has an impact on decisions concerning compliance with the principles of sustainable development.
