Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study was to provide examples of good practice on social responsibility of Japanese consumers and businesses. The choice of Japanese being the object of the research resulted from the experience of the authors staying in the country of cherry blossom. They presented some actions in the scope of Consumer Social Responsibility and Corporate Social Responsibility despite cultural differences between Poland and Japan. Case study and possible implementation Asian practices in Poland leading to the sustainability in the use of resources and the appropriate management of them, was a form of dialogue ,. Such examples can be used to give new impulses to support sustainable production and consumption and more efficient management of resources.
