Summary/Abstract: The predictive archeological modeling is a perspective and dynamically developing direction in the contemporary archeological research. The present publication introduces an exemplary approach at working out of perspective archeological modeling by using of GIS. It is based on the spatial location of the archeological objects, which have been discovered yet, as well as on the water sources, soil cover, the characteristics of the terrain, as leading geographical factors. The basic spatial units are squares, each having an area of 1 km 2. After the application of the appropriate procedures, the 7 most perspective areas are brought out for detouring and validating the suggested model. Based on it, 65 new unknown so far archeological objects in the Suhareka basin in Northeast Bulgaria, were located.
