System of Education as the Detrminant of Establish an Enterprise of the Small and Medium-sized Business Sector

Summary/Abstract: The small and medium-sized business sector is the subject of research and analyses ofmany disciplines because it occupies an essential place in the economy of every country aswell as it constitutes the base of all contemporary market economies. Small and medium-sizedenterprises contribute to the improvement of competiveness of the economy and the developmentof the economic infrastructure because they are an indisputable medium of innovation,social and local integration as well as an important place of employment. The establishmentof an enterprise of the SME sector is determined by a number of considerations, among whichthe system of education plays an important meaning.The author of this study focuses on the phenomenon of entrepreneurship, which is itsfullest expression in the small and medium-sized enterprise, SME sector in Poland and aneducational system which significantly determines the tendency of the society to displayenterprising behaviors and the amount of start-ups. The purpose of this work is to identify theopportunities to develop entrepreneurial attitudes in the individual and the status of the Polishsystem of the entrepreneurship education.
