Summary/Abstract: Foreign direct investments are important component of economic development in the world. They are seen as important catalyst of economic transformations of significant number of countries. Even though this form of funding is the framework of growth model of Montenegrin economy, world economic crisis has shown that it has to be fundamentally to the advantage of greenfield investments and export-oriented foreign direct investments in order for more significant effect to be seen over a longer period.
