Summary/Abstract: Foreign trade plays an important role in the economic development of small and open economies such as the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina. For this reason, any analysis of proposals and development strategies should be primarily focused on identifying and overcoming problems in foreign trade. The aim of this study is to empirically perform technical analysis of imports coverage by exports, which would be based on available historical quarterly data for the period from the first quarter of 2005 to the second quarter of 2014 and which will be proposed linear ARIMA model to predict future trends within foreign trade.
