Summary/Abstract: Vajats are buildings in the croft of rural households. These objects are rectangular, with corner entrance and without windows. At the beginning, young married couples lived there. The same building form was used for the storage of milk. According to the building structure they can be divided into two groups. According to the infill technique they can be classified into three groups. According to the method of suspension they can be grouped into three categories. This paper presents the material collected during an individual study conducted from 1996 to 2000.
